“I Digress”

As the creating writer of this Blog, I have experienced a various degrees of change that seem to have me redirecting this whole scheme. My roles started out as a beginning driver in 2006, with the plan of  joining those with ideas of using the notebook and laptop as working tools in the trucking environment (the primary plan was to have tangible or actual data styles to present in concept teaching; the Commercial Driving experience was only to be temporary). The beginning is always hardest, but as I attempted to go through different positions, and even Independent Contracting opportunities, I found different a constant change in the transportation business that needed a constant change in my own routine. It turns out that the would be a falling out period, when leaving the role as Independent Contractor, and assume the role as an employed OTR Truck Driver.

It is amazing how you can get so consumed into such a lifestyle, and get caught up in your own desires and dreams. The last two months was invested in trying to figure out what occurred. In February 2014, I was so close to going to the next level, and become an Owner-Operator, then stopped. Six months would pass, and I would make excuses, and blame other persons for the need to just stop. It took that time to realize…I had become the Truck Driver. I lost focus of this whole purpose of building spreadsheets, and other files in examples, and even create “How To” videos.  Somehow, I became what I never thought I could ever aspire to. In the beginning, I thought I would eventually be told that I just didn’t have “the stuff” to be a professional driver.

There is a workshop (now storage) awaiting for me to get back to the original plan, of studio, repairs, and project building.
